UX consultancy for clearer, more accessible digital experiences

I help product teams understand where people get stuck and turn research, behavioural evidence and accessibility findings into practical design changes.

Most of my work has been in B2B SaaS, ecommerce and financial services. I work as an independent practitioner, so you deal with me directly.

    What I can help with

      Accessibility and inclusive UX reviews

When it helps: You think parts of your product are hard to use for some people, or you want a clear view of the accessibility problems before you plan the work to fix them.

      What’s included

      • A scoped review informed by WCAG, covering contrast, keyboard navigation, focus, page structure and how clear the content is
      • Walking through the key journeys you agree with me, not every page by default
      • Workshops with your design, product and engineering people to go through what I found

      What you get

      • Prioritised findings, each with an example of where it happens
      • Practical recommendations for fixing each one

This is a scoped UX review. It is not a legal compliance audit or certification. Specialist testing with assistive technology is only included if we scope it separately and bring in the right expertise.

      UX reviews and behavioural diagnosis

When it helps: People are dropping out of a journey and you have the data to show it, but nobody is sure why or what to change first.

      What’s included

      • Working through the analytics, session replay and funnel data you already have
      • A heuristic review of the journey itself, step by step
      • Sorting problems by how often they seem to happen and how much they get in people’s way

      What you get

      • A prioritised list of problems with the evidence behind each
      • Hypotheses you can test, written so your team can design the test

I can show you where people struggle and what I’d try first. We agree how to evaluate changes as part of the scope.

      Research and usability testing

When it helps: You’re about to make a big decision on assumptions, or the team disagrees about what customers actually need.

      What’s included

      • Working out the research questions with you
      • An interview or usability test plan
      • Running moderated usability testing
      • Synthesis of what came out of it

      What you get

      • A clear write-up of what I found
      • Recommendations tied to the decisions you need to make

Recruitment, access to participants, sample size and timing are agreed as part of the scope before anything starts.

      Product and interaction design

When it helps: You know what needs to change and need someone to design it properly and get it built.

      What’s included

      • Information architecture
      • Responsive flows
      • Prototypes in Figma
      • Reusable component patterns
      • Handoff documentation and walkthroughs with Engineering

      What you get

      • Designs and prototypes your team can review and test
      • Documented patterns engineering can build from

ZOEVA demonstrates commissioned interactive prototype work, including mobile hierarchy and shade selection. It is a prototype, not a live store.

    Ways to work together

    There are no fixed packages.

    • A scoped review

A fixed piece of work on one product or journey, ending with prioritised findings.

    • A focused project

Research or design work on a specific problem, with an agreed end point.

    • Embedded support

Freelance or contract, working inside your team for a set period.

    How it works

    1. Step 1

      Understand the context

What the product is, who uses it, what’s going wrong and what you already know.

    2. Step 2

      Agree the scope

The problem, scope, access, deliverables, timing and fee, all agreed in writing before any work starts.

    3. Step 3

      Investigate and design

The research, review or design work itself, with regular check-ins so nothing lands as a surprise.

    4. Step 4

      Hand over next steps

Prioritised next steps your team can act on, and a walkthrough so they make sense without me in the room.

    Get in Touch

    Before you get in touch

Projects and contract work: A short email is plenty. It helps if you tell me:

    • What the product is
    • The problem you’re trying to solve
    • Your rough timescale
    • What kind of support you’re after: a review, a project or someone embedded in the team

Please don’t send personal data, login details or anything confidential to your client or company at this stage. We can sort out access properly once the scope is agreed.

Permanent roles: open to Senior Product Designer, Senior UX Designer, Lead UX Designer and UX Consultant roles, plus suitable hands-on Head of UX opportunities. London hybrid or UK remote, and available immediately.
